Brian Given is Chief of Staff in the Office of Public Safety. In this role, Brian provides leadership and coordination across the Office of Public Safety and the University to help protect our community.
Brian joined Georgetown University from FEMA, where he served as Deputy Chief Security Officer, Chief Security Officer, and Deputy Associate Administrator for Mission Support. He brings nearly two decades of senior leadership in public safety, security, and emergency management, with extensive experience working across complex organizations and in close partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
