Sexual Assualt Services
Georgetown University’s Health Education Services offers specialized services to and support for victims of sexual offenses. A Sexual Assault Services Coordinator serves as the primary resource for students who have been sexually assaulted, experience sexual harassment, or other inappropriate sexual incidents. The Department of Public Safety will coordinate with this individual for incidents of this nature. In addition, individuals may contact DPS anonymously at any time at (202) 687-4343 to have the Sexual Assault Services Coordinator paged.
The Sexual Assault Services Coordinator works with the Department of Public Safety and other entities to respond and report incidents of alleged sexual assault in a manner that is supportive of the complainant. The Department of Public Safety also works with Health Education Services to conduct sexual assault training for students and members of the university community throughout the year.
